The project includes the paving of the existing shoulders and replacement of the edge lights on Taxiway 'A' and 'D', pavement improvements to Taxiways 'C' and 'D' and the demolition of connector Taxiway ‘B’. Also included is the replacement of the existing Taxiway 'A' and 'D' medium intensity taxiway light (MITL) system. The proposed project will replace the old quartz lights with light emitting diode (LED) lights including new cans, conduits, and counterpoise in the proposed Taxiway 'A' and 'D' shoulders. New LED taxiway lights will also be installed along the edges of the proposed pavement removal areas. This project will include pavement demolition, the removal of existing taxiway lights and airfield sign, removal and replacement of sign panels, soil conditioning, placement of cement treated aggregate (P-304), concrete (P-501) placement, asphalt placement and light installation including conduit and cabling.
