The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract with an approved pool of vendors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to install, replace and/or repair any chain link fences, gates, and accessories at Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ facilities. Vendor(s) shall also be required to perform all associated and incidental work, including, verification of underground utilities, trenching, grading and grass replacement, concrete work, and any other incidental work required for project completion and acceptance. The term of the resulting agreement shall be for a period of three (3) years with two (2) successive options to renew of one-year each, all at the discretion of the District. Options to renew will be evidenced in writing as a contract amendment to the resulting agreement, negotiated, executed and signed by the District prior to the expiration date of the resulting agreement or any valid extension thereof. At the time of the bid opening, and throughout the term of the contract, the successful bidder must be qualified and properly licensed to perform the scope of the work described herein. The vendor shall hold at a minimum, an active Certificate of Competency as a Fence Contractor issued by the State of Florida and/or Miami-Dade County. Questions due via email 5/12/2022, 5:00pm.
