It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one or more qualified Contractors to perform mowing, trimming, and trash pickup of Municipal Service Taxing Units (MSTUs) and Municipal Service Benefit Units (MSBUs). This is a full-service landscape solicitation based on a fixed per cycle cost. The fixed cost shall cover all expenses incurred by the Contractor for providing all supervision, labor, equipment, tools and materials (including but not limited to plant removal and installation, landfill fees associated with debris removal, etc.) to perform comprehensive landscape maintenance as specified herein. It is anticipated an Agreement will be awarded for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the County; with the opportunity for additional one (1) year renewal periods when in the best interest of the County. Total contract length, including all renewals shall not exceed five (5) years. The decision to renew or extend the contract shall be at the discretion of the County. The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has established a Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE or MWBE) and Local Small Business Enterprise Programs (LSBE) with a combined goal of 25% contractor and subcontractor participation.
