San Antonio Water Systems solicits sealed bids for the demolition and site restoration of two elevated storage tanks located at Lackland Airforce Base and Port San Antonio as included in the Contract Documents for the Tinker and Westover Elevated Storage Tanks Demolition Project, SAWS Job No. 21-0134. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Demolition and removal of all structures and appurtenances shown for removal in plans. 2. Salvaging of any equipment as noted in the plans. 3. Electrical and instrumentation demolition and salvaging. 4. Capping and plugging of existing utilities to the site. 5. Restoration of all sites to match the natural ground. 6. Removal and replacement of waterlines and appurtenances in cases where distributions mains are to remain in service. 7. Surface restoration will include filling excavated areas and fill with topsoil and seeded. Questions are due no later than 4:00 PM on Oct 11th. If Bidders intend to submit bids electronically, Bidders will need to submit a request by October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM (CDT) to receive access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to Stella Manzello. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
