Item 1: The Town of Lake Placid is receiving sealed proposals for installation of two VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) units to be installed to operate two 40 hp motors that operate water system high service pumps. Item 2: Replacement of tank floats and associated wiring/ switchgear that operates well pumps with an ultrasonic, radar, or other more reliable method. New gear must maintain existing operation functions including lead, lag, and alarm modes. All equipment shall be rated to handle chemical and wet environments. Equipment provided shall be from a nationally recognized and reputable manufacturer.
