The purpose of this invitation to Bid “ITB” is to provide for wind mitigation efforts to reduce potential damage to City of Tampa designated Building. The mitigation measure will involve a hurricane wind retrofit, including structural improvements for the installation of a shutter system for all window and door assemblies. The shutter system shall be engineered for each opening where wind load design was not incorporated into the original design of the buildings envelope. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
