The following work must be accomplished before any demolition or site-clearing activity occurs within 100 feet of the tree(s) to be saved. Tree(s) to be removed that have branches extending into the canopy of tree(s) to remain must be removed by a qualified arborist and not by demolition or construction contractors. A qualified arborist shall remove the tree in a manner that causes no damage to the tree(s) and understory to remain. Fences have been erected to protect trees to be preserved. Fences define a specific protection zone for each tree or group of trees. Fences are to remain until all site work has been completed. Fences may not be relocated or removed without the written permission of the Town Urban Forester. Bid Bond Required. This project encouraged M/WBE participation.
