The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as “VDOT” is soliciting bids from interested firms to perform unplanned/on-call by the shoulder mile brush cutting, tree pruning, and small tree removal in accordance of the performance specifications herein, within the Culpeper District along highway rights-of-way with Albemarle, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties, which consist of Two lane, Multi lane, Primary, and Secondary roads. Awards will be made on a Grand Total basis. Contract term: One year from date of award with four (4), one (1) year renewal options. Questions due 5 days prior to bid date. SBE goal 42%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
