Long Beach Transit (LBT) is a municipal transit company providing fixed and flexible bus transit services in Long Beach, California, in communities in south/southeastern Los Angeles County and in northwestern Orange County. Long Beach Transit has 34 bus routes and nearly 2000 bus stops in their service area. Most Long Beach Transit routes run seven days a week and all routes are wheelchair accessible. There are four (4) routes that travel to and from the Long Beach Airport as well as connections with the Metro light rail service.With the staff expansion to the new location, and the current telephone system approaching end-of-life, Long Beach Transit’s Information Technology Department (IT) is requesting proposals for the replacement of the organizations Cisco UCX telephone system. LBT would like to replace the phone system with a Unified Communication as a Service hosted solution. Upon successful replacement and operation of the new telephone system, the old telephone system will be removed. Q&A due by 01/26/21 at 2PM. SBE goals. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
