CalTrans is inviting bids for all labor, tools, equipment, and expenses to collect, remove, transport, and legally dispose of all environmentally-regulated, biological and Hazardous Waste (HazWaste), and contaminated materials, debris, waste, and other substances (collectively the "HazWaste Materials") at the sites set forth in each Service Request, and also cleanup the sites so that no HazWaste Materials remain on the site (collectively the "HazWaste Services"). The HazWaste Materials include, but are not limited to, contaminated debris, biological waste, environmentally regulated substances, and hazardous waste, including the HazWaste Materials in confined spaces. Biological waste is any material that contains, has been contaminated by, or may be contaminated by a biohazardous agent (risk to human health or the environment), and it includes, but it is not limited to, syringes, needles, blood, vomit, urine, and feces. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply. The anticipated term of this project is 7/1/20 through 6/30/24.
