The selected experienced and qualified professional firm(s) will be tasked to provide construction management services for up to ten (10) projects as part of Valley Water’s Watersheds Asset Rehabilitation Program (WARP). However, Valley Water reserves the right to update this list in the future, based on its operational needs and priorities. Any updates to the list shall be for projects of similar size and scope. The number of construction projects to be implemented within the time frame of this agreement can also be less than the identified ten (10) projects. The following qualifications are the minimum required qualifications that a Proposer must meet for a proposal to be considered responsive: • The Proposer shall have 10 years of experience in construction management of flood control/watersheds construction projects. • The Proposer shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in each of the following areas of past construction projects: erosion repair of creek banks; concrete repair of channels; steel pile installation, consisting of a combination of cast-in-drill-hole (CIDH) piles, soldier piles, and silent pile driven steel piles; repair, rehabilitation and full restoration of engineered levees; and environmental restoration within natural channels, including native revegetation and removal of invasive species. • The Proposer shall have the following certifications, licenses, or affiliations for its construction managers: California Professional Engineer P.E. in Civil Engineering • The Proposer shall possess knowledge of regulations and codes regarding Caltrans Manuals, ACI, ICC, AWS AASHTO Greenbook, Cal/OSHA, construction management for public works projects and shall be familiar with local conditions including but not limited to utility relocations and traffic control within cities and towns located in Santa Clara County. • The Proposer shall also possess knowledge of regulations and codes and shall be familiar with local conditions relating to Section 5, Preliminary Scope of Services.
