The project also includes the removal of approximately 1,948 linear feet of 8 inch AC pipe and the grouting of approximately 3,767 linear feet of 6 and 8 inch AC and/or PVC force main pipe. The contractor is required to submit a detailed written plan to construct the improvements and accomplish the design intent, OCU and the Engineer will review and approve the proposed plan. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the facilities as shown on the Drawings and specified herein consisting of, but not limited to the improvements to the County’s wastewater transmission system. Submission of an electronic Bid Bond completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in Exhibit 1 to the Bid Proposal (Part D), or in the alternative, a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check shall be required to accompany each bid proposal in a stated dollar amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the sum of the computed total amount of the Bidder's Base Bid proposal. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
