The Work to be bid consists of furnishing all miscellaneous materials, tools, supervision, labor, and equipment for: -Performing on-site selective demolition, preparatory work, miscellaneous assembly, fabrication, and installation of Owner-furnished equipment and mechanisms to upgrade the existing Clarifier No.1 structure and operations. Included is the receipt of delivery at the project site and unloading of delivered materials by the City's supplier, TSC JACOBS-OVIVO, USA. Specifically, the Contractor is to be responsible for the following: 1. Perform selective demolition of the existing Clarifier equipment consisting of: - existing center column, drive mechanisms, skimmer arms, scum trough and piping, and all associated components including personnel access walkway that are being replaced as directed by the Owner. 2. Perform dewatering, draining, and cleaning of Clarifier Tank Structure 3. Drain and dispose of all existing lubricants. 4. Assemble and Install center column with flanges and inlet ports. 5. Assemble and Install Rake arms with 2 full radii with spiral rake blades. 6. Assemble and Install Rotating sludge collection drum with CMD Device. 7. Drive platform with aluminum floor plate, handrail, and toe plate. 8. Install new Feedwell system. 9. Install new Energy dissipating inlet. 10. Assemble and Install two new skimmer arms with neoprene wipers and full radius scum trough. 11. Install new Rotating center cage. 12. Assemble and Install new personnel access walkway to replace existing walkway. 13. Install all Electrical controls and components required for operation of new system. 14. Provide and install all necessary lubricants as required. 15. Site clean-up associated with the Contractor's work. Bonds Required.
