As part of an integrity assessment of Garland Power and Light’s (GP&L) 16-inch natural gas transmission line located in Collin County, Texas, cleaning and in-line inspection (ILI) activities have been performed and require validation. The proposed work plan will include three (3) excavations with direct assessments in accordance with (IAW) GP&L’s IMP for ILI tool validation and an optional fourteen (14) pipeline casing assessments. All three (3) excavations are based on anomalies identified during the ILI performed by Pond December 2019. Anomalies are listed in the table below. Dig 1, Dig 2, and Dig 3 are sufficient to provide ILI tool validation; therefore, Dig ID 884 has been removed from this proposal and dig sheets are provided in Appendix A. Contractor will utilize a Subcontractor for excavation, repair & restoration activities. Questions are due by 12:00 PM on Mar 17th. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
