Collier County Procurement Services, Conference Room A, 3295 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34112. A non-mandatory site visit will follow immediately after the pre-bid meeting at the project site. The Site visit will convene at the parking lot for Conner Park located near the Northwest corner of 111th Avenue and Vanderbilt Drive in Naples, Florida 34108.

Estimate: $2,500,000.00

The intent is to remove all aerial utilities and poles from the west side of Vanderbilt Drive between Bluebill Ave and Cocohatchee River. Even though the MSTU boundary line goes down the center of the Cocohatchee River, the project will also include the removal of a single pole on the north side of river. The project will not modify or remove any stand-alone street light poles or support structures for traffic lights. Phase IV project construction for the conversion of Florida Power & Light (FPL) aerial utility to underground is being completed in two stages. The first stage of the project consists of the installation of conduit, vaults, hand holes, and concrete pads which will be completed by one contractor. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Agreement and file the required bonds and insurance within ten (10) calendar days after the receipt of the Notice of Award.
