The Project will construct a 15-acre multi-use detention basin requiring the excavation of approximately 131,700 cubic yards of soil. Approximately 45,000 cubic yards will be placed immediately west of the basin on two private properties (8021 Carmencita Ave and portions of 8041 Carmencita Ave; APNs: 122-013-012 and –015). The remaining 86,700 cubic yards of soil will be disposed of at a permitted facility chosen by the awarded contractor. The Project will also install an armored concrete weir, culverts, paved multi-use trail, fencing, and internal basin/field drainage infrastructure, and all other work specified on the plans and in the specifications. Bonds required. Prevailing wages apply.
