The project consists of the abandonment of an existing 6" waterline and the installation of a new 6" waterline within Walnut Avenue. The existing water services, meters, and boxes shall be removed and reinstalled throughout the roadway. The existing roadway is to have a 2" asphalt grind and overlay over the entire length of Walnut Avenue, from 1st Street to Highway 120. Various sidewalk and curb improvements shall be done on Walnut Avenue and the connecting California Street to aid in ADA accessibility.
