The City of Everett owns a Water Filter Plant located near Monroe, WA and is seeking a Contractor to construct improvements at the plant’s Portal 4 structure. Proposed work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a new electrical cable delivering power to Portal 4 from the water filtration plant (WFP), improvements within the Portal 4 structure including replacement of electrical equipment, installation of new motorized actuators on three existing valves, HVAC, architectural, and building security improvements, upgrades to a level sensing device, and covering a section of exposed open channel with FRP panels. Exterior improvements include installation of isolation valves and valve vaults on three existing large diameter buried transmission lines and installation of a security fence around the structure. The Water Filter Plant is located at 6133 Lake Chaplain Road, Monroe, WA 98272. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
