Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Proposal to provide and install a specific Water Sense labeled irrigation controller (Hunter Pro-C irrigation controller with Solar Sync ET sensor or the Rachio irrigation controller) at specific residential properties as directed by the County Project Manager. The Q320 Phase Six Water Sense labeled irrigation controller installation program is grant funded through the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Cooperative Funding Initiative and the Withlacoochee Regional Water Supply Authority. An Agreement between the Southwest Florida Water Management District is anticipated in October 2022; if such an Agreement is not reached, this project will be cancelled. This program is intended to reduce irrigation water use and provide water-saving education to single family residential water customers of Citrus County. The project is geared toward high-water use customers that receive potable water for irrigation from the Citrus County Department of Water Resources. The contractor will schedule installations with customers, install product(s), set an appropriate irrigation schedule, submit monthly invoices and monthly schedule updates. This program will include installation of 50 or more controllers at a maximum of $600 per installation, including all materials, time, labor and insurance. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
