The project’s purpose is to decommission 10 water wells in Sierra Azul and Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserves, Santa Clara County, approximately 3–15 miles from Los Gatos, California. The wells are located throughout unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County and may be up to one-hour driving distance apart from one another based on traffic, road, and weather conditions. Some of the wells can only be accessed via steep dirt roads. Prevailing wages apply. Bonds required.
