The Base Bid work consists of; sandblasting and recoating the steel tanks housing the rotary biological contactor, clarifier, and sand filter, including replacement of sand filter media and corroded metal treatment tank hardware and supports. Add Alternate No.1 consists of demolition and replacement of clarifier internal mechanical components. Add Alternate No.2 consists of demolition and replacement of existing sand filter internal mechanical components. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Work will be substantially completed within 60 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, as described below.
