Baltimore City Schools invites bids for Window and Door Replacement at Dr. Nathan Pitts-Ashburton Pre-K to 8 School #058. The scope of work is to replace all of the existing windows and exterior doors on the building. The work will replace all 3,110 square feet of the windows, frames, and hardware with pre-finished aluminum frames and hardware in existing openings. All exterior door frames and some exterior doors shall be replaced as well. The work shall meet City Schools' specifications regarding security, energy efficiency and maximum clarity of the combination thermal and security glazing. The windows at grade level shall be protected by security screening. Interior and exterior walls, including sills and lintels, shall be repaired where damaged near windows, and new window shades installed at all windows. Additional incidental Work is indicated in the Contract Documents. All work under this contract shall be completed within nine (9) months or 270 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed letter. Questions Due: October 4, 2022, by 4:00 p.m. MBE goal 27%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
