Work generally consists of completing a sidewalk “gap” closure by constructing new curb, gutter, sidewalk, and a 6-foot-wide paved shoulder over a 250- foot-long section of Humphrey Road near King Road. Work also includes the construction of two curb ramps and pad for a solar-powered, Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon (RRFB) that is to be installed by others at the existing crosswalk near the Clarke Powers Elementary School located at 3296 Humphrey Road. In addition, the work includes replacement of two curb ramps at the intersection of Brace Road and Hunters Drive. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
