The City of Santa Barbara is inviting proposals from qualified construction management and inspection firms to provide construction observation, monitoring, inspection, and material testing services for the Fiscal Year 2025 Wastewater Main Rehabilitation Project. The Project includes rehabilitation of approximately 15,098 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity piping ranging in diameter from 6 to 15 inches via CIPP lining methods. The Contractor is expected to clean each pipe, perform a pre-lining video inspection, install the CIPP liner, reinstate lateral connections, install service lateral connection seals (tophats) as directed, and perform post-lining video inspection. A sample of the cured liner is to be delivered to the City for each location and tested by the Contractor through a third-party inspection laboratory to verify thickness. Additionally, some locations require manhole rehabilitation or lining work, as directed on the plans.
