The primary purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to identify qualified providers/developers of solar rooftop installations to support the City of Sunnyvale (City) in developing a resilient and cost-effective renewable energy project at the Sunnyvale Lakewood Branch Library. The City seeks proposals from qualified Proposers for the design and engineering, procurement of materials, permitting, installation, interconnection, execute a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), and all associated documentation, financing, maintenance, and warranties of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system (System) to be located at the Sunnyvale Lakewood Branch Library. The System within the scope of this project shall be financed, owned, and operated by the Proposer under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). In relation to this RFP, the term “Proposer” shall refer to all organizational members of the responding team that will, through combined efforts and abilities, perform all aspects of site development.
