The Scope of this Professional Service Agreement (Agreement) includes the design and engineering required to prepare the bid package for the construction and installation of approximately 12,500-linear feet (LF) of 36-inch diameter potable water transmission line to facilitate water delivery to the Zone 1 storage tanks. The 36-inch waterline will begin at the Holly Street Booster Pump Station (located on the northwest corner of Holly Circle South and Holly Street). Two (2) potential alignment options are provided in Attachment A – one (1) along the Holly Street and 140th Avenue arterial roadways, and another that extends through the Trail Winds Parks complex. The waterline will connect to an existing 30-inch stub-out on the discharge side of the booster pump station, extend north, and will terminate at a 36-inch stub-out located at East 140th Avenue and Dahlia Street. A 36-inch waterline connection will be required to tie into Thornton’s existing 42-inch waterline located on the upstream side of the booster pump station. This portion of waterline will include a check valve for operational flexibility. Refer to Attachment B for more detail. Easement acquisitions may be required depending on the selected waterline alignment
