The Broomfield Urban Renewal Authority (“BURA”), together with the City and County of Broomfield (known hereinafter as, “Ownership Partners”), are seeking proposals from qualified developers for the opportunity to purchase and develop the site on which the former Broomfield Event Center was located. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify and select a highly qualified developer with experience in public-private mixed-use developments to negotiate an exclusive option to purchase and develop the site. The best qualified development team will have the opportunity to negotiate a development agreement and option to purchase the site. The successful development team will work and consult with the Ownership Partners during the performance period, leading to the planning,design, and rezoning of the site before closing on the land. Bonds required.
