The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS), on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Department, is issuing this Request for Proposals to solicit design-build proposals from offerors interested in serving as the design-builder for the design and construction of a new emergency generator system, capable of supporting the facility's full building load. The system shall include all required automated transfer switch(s), distribution panel(s), and code-compliant Fire Alarm Systems to fully integrate into the 4th District MPD Headquarters building system. The proposed Project is located at 6001 Georgia Avenue., NW, Washington, DC, 20011. This solicitation is being set-aside for Offerors that are certified by the District of Columbia Department of Small and Local Business Development (“DSLBD”) as certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs).
