The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS) is issuing this Invitation for Bids Contractor to provide all labor, material, and equipment for the design and installation of new electrical power infrastructure for the new DC FEMS Fleet Maintenance Facility located at 6 DC Village Lane SW, Washington DC 20032. Provide all engineering, layout, design, and coordination required for the installation of the work, including but not limited to the following: a. Structural Facility Drawings for Permit and PEPCO use. b. b) Secondary/Primary Duct Bank work at new transformer pad (including intercept of existing service duct bank) c. All PEPCO required materials from the material control letter (transformer pad/grounding) d. Utility Poles on private property (4 total). e. Re-use of existing 800amp gear. f. Installation of new 1200amp gear (NEMA) rated. g. Coordination of the work with PEPCO. h. All conduit lines must be dimensioned from property lines, buildings, other utilities, and obstructions. SBE goal 35%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
