Description

The purpose of this Contract is to provide preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and repair services necessary to maintain the Departments Weigh-in-Motion (WIM), Virtual Weigh-in-Motion (VWIM), and Static Scale Systems. All services should ensure that equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and meets or exceeds the standards specified below: National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 44, (current edition) ASTM E1318 (current edition), Standard Specification for Highway Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) Systems All work shall be performed by technicians certified by the respective equipment manufacturers. The general objective of this Contract is to furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and parts required to perform preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), calibration, upgrades, and related services for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Motor Carrier Size and Weight (MCSAW) Scale Facilities statewide.
