Ballfield Clay Lip Repair and Sodding, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Scope of Work: Vendor shall provide clay lip repair and sod replacement on two ballfields at Broward Couty Parks and Recreaons Brian Piccolo Park. 1. Repair Clay Lips and Sod Replacement on two Ballfields see aached diagram a. Excavate clay lip build-up on infield/ouield arc of each of two ballfields. b. Excavate and remove sod approximately 16 feet out from the infield/ouield arc. Vendor is responsible for hauling away and disposing of the old sod and all debris. c. Rough level this area even with exisng ouield grass. d. It is esmated that the work above in 1.a 1.c will take 1-2 working days. e. At this point, Broward County staff will laser grade the ballfields, esmated to take 1- 2 working days. f. Vendor shall return to the worksite within 5 working days of the laser grading being complete and install approximately 4,882 square feet (2,441 square feet on each field) of new Bermuda grass sod, supplied by Vendor, to the prepped area. This work is esmated to take 1-2 working days. 2. General a. Vendor shall supply all equipment, labor and materials to perform the lip repair, remove the old sod, and install new sod. b. Broward County shall supply the clay needed for Vendor to perform the lip repair. c. Vendor shall be in the regular business of sodding ballfields, as evidenced by 3. Delivery/Installaon a. Shipping of all materials shall be FOB Desnaon, including all handling, offloading, and installaon within 30 calendar days of receipt of purchase order. Vendor who is unable to meet this meframe may be considered non-responsive. b. Work hours shall be Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 7:00PM, except County holidays. Vendor shall coordinate work dates and mes with the Project Manager. Work performed at other mes shall be by special arrangement only and must be approved by the Project Manager. c. Vendor shall schedule and conduct a complete walk through of the site with the Project Manager prior to work being performed. d.
