The scope of the project is SMART Overlay and curb ramps for sidewalks (ADA) Improvements. The work to be performed consists of: Removing of the exist. hot-mix asphalt (HMA) surface course and replacement with new. Spot locations pavement patching and curb removal & replacement. Curb ramps for sidewalks (ADA) improvements. Drainage structures adjustment and cleaning. Installation of new pavement markings, raised reflective pavement markers. Pedestrian signals improvements (APS), detector loops replacement. Drainage improvement: installation of new catch basin and connecting it to the main (trunk) storm sewer with a manhole and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described in the special provisions. The project begins on the centerline of IL 53 (Lincoln Avenue), approximately 382-feet south of the intersection at 75th St and extends northerly along IL 53, ending at a point 339-feet north of 61st St. The project has a gross and net length of 10,188-feet (1.93-miles). Located in the Villages of Lisle and Woodridge in DuPage County. The project also includes spot drainage improvement at 5124 Lincoln Avenue (IL 53) in Lisle. Prevailing wages.
