The project involves the complete replacement of a four-span bridge (SN 100-0053) that carries Stiritz Road over I-57. The existing structure will be replaced with a two-span bridge (SN 100- 0110). Stiritz Road will be closed over I-57. Roadway improvements include the construction of concrete pavement connectors, HMA pavement, aggregate subgrade improvement and HMA & PCC shoulders. The improvements also include guardrail, earthwork, and seeding. This project is located on Stiritz Road where it crosses over I-57 approximately 1.6 miles south of the Franklin County line in Williamson County, Illinois. Prevailing wages.
