The City of Westminster requests bids for MD 27 at Hahn Road Water Main Improvements. This project includes upsizing approximately 434 L.F. of existing 8-inch Cast Iron Pipe within Hahn Road to 12-inch DIP via same trench/offset replacement and jack and bore underneath the Maryland Midland Railroad road crossing and also replacing approximately 420 L.F. of existing 12-inch Asbestos-Cement Pipe within MD 27 - Manchester Road with 12-inch DIP water main. The project limits are within Carroll County public right-of-way, MDOT SHA right-of-way and within City of Westminster’s easements including an easement across property owned by Penguin Random House. This work will also include installing fire hydrants, milling, and overlaying sections of existing roadways, which are impacted during open cut construction. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
