This project is to rehabilitate the Kootenai River bridge that carries US-2 over the Kootenai River in Lincoln County (MP 11.58). The rehabilitation is to address deformations in the existing gusset and pin plates that have occurred over time since it was constructed. The scope of work includes replacing the existing expansion rocker bearings that support the main truss spans at Pier 3 and 6 along with the associated structural repairs to accommodate the new bearings. The rehabilitation work also includes some minor Class A deck repair and repairing three existing stringer to floor beam connections in Span 4 and 5. There is no roadway work included in the project. DBE goal is 6.3% Prevailing wages.
