The objective of this Project is to provide upgrades and improvements to the existing hydraulic elevator system located within the Academic Center at the Marie Katzenbach School for the Deaf. The scope of the work includes: 1. The provision and installation of the new elevator system components. 2. Installation of air handling unit within the Elevator Controls Room. 3. Selective removal and patching of existing roofing and insulation (recently installed under DPMC Project No. E0381-00) to accommodate the installation of new rooftop curbs for passage of conduit through the roof system. 4. Selective cutting and removal of steel roof decking for passage of conduit through roof system. 5. Electrical work to power and control the new ventilation system. All bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) or General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009) or Elevators (C099). Bidder must be classified themselves or name their classified subcontractors for the following trades: HVACR (C032), Electrical (C047), Elevators (C099). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
