Project Location: Main Lobby – Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, 59 Koch Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ 07950. Briefly, and without force and effect upon contract documents, work of contract can be summarized as follows: a. Perform and underground utility survey and confirm all site dimensions prior to mobilization. b. Install temporary signage and protection around the work area. Install signage and restrict fire escape access at the interior of the building. c. Remove the existing stairs. Excavate the grass and soil to the required footing depths. d. Install reinforcing steel and place new concrete footings. e. Install the new fire escape stair tower. Remove and replace the existing 2nd floor exterior door. f. Restore site and remove temporary protection. Bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following Trades: General Construction (C008) OR General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009). Bidder or sub-contractor must be classified for the following Trade: Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029). Paper bids will not be accepted. Bonds required.
