The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking to develop an approach to improve power reliability and to mitigate any extended outages at the Wylie Water Treatment Plant in Wylie, Texas. The Wylie Water Treatment Plant Complex is comprised of four (4) water treatment plants with a total rated capacity of 840 MGD. The Wylie Water Treatment Plant has two (2) electrical substations that take transmission power at the 138kV level and step down to a 25kV level for loop distribution around the entire facility.
