The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals with the intent to enter into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural / Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, for comprehensive design of a renovation of an existing high school, Brentsville District High School, located at 12109 Aden Road, Nokesville, Virginia 20181. The original building was constructed in. 1962, with additions constructed in 1964, 1970, 1980, and 1998. Renovation to include the following: • Exterior Brick Veneer and Building Envelope Repair • Interior ADA Compliance • New Roof System • New Doors and Hardware • New Daylighting and Windows • New Finishes, Casework and Accessories Throughout • New Kitchen Layout and Equipment Upgrades • Addition to Cafeteria • Finishes Upgrade to Existing Pressbox • Replace Existing Elevator • Expansion of Existing Partial Fire Suppression System to Entire Building • Replacement/Repair to all Plumbing Systems (Underground and Above Ground) • HVAC Upgrades to align with Recent Partial Equipment Replacements • New BAS Controls • Electrical Upgrades including Interior and Exterior LED Lighting • Low Voltage System Replacements/Upgrades • Exterior Sidewalk, Fire Lane, Parking Lots, Irrigation and Landscaping Upgrades.
