The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals with the intent to enter into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural / Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, for comprehensive design of a renovation of an existing middle school, Woodbridge Middle School located at 2201 York Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191. The original building was constructed in 1964, with an addition constructed in 1971. Renovation to include the following: • Exterior Brick Veneer and Building Envelope Repair • Interior and Exterior ADA Compliance • New Roof System • New Doors and Hardware • New Daylighting and Partial Window Replacement • New Finishes, Casework and Accessories Throughout • New Kitchen Equipment Upgrades • Replace Existing Elevator • Expansion of Existing Partial Fire Suppression System to Entire Building • Upgrades to all Plumbing Systems • Upgrades to HVAC Systems • New BAS Controls • Electrical Upgrades including Interior and Exterior LED Lighting • Low Voltage System Replacements/Upgrades • Exterior Sidewalk, Fire Lane, Parking Lots, Irrigation and Landscaping Upgrades.
