The purpose and intent of this solicitation is for Shenandoah County (County) to establish a term contract with a qualified contractor (Contractor) to perform snow and ice removal services to various County property locations. Snow and ice removal and disposal includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Removal and clearing of snow and ice (e.g., plowing, shoveling, etc.) from the driveways, roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and any other walkway areas of the contracted locations. b. De-icing (i.e., application of salt, sand, or other de-icing agent) of the driveways, roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and any other walkway areas of the contracted locations.
