For a contract for the purchase of contractor services related to the replacement of the existing fire panel. The VHA is seeking Design/Build Proposals for the replacement of its existing Fire Alarm Control Panel. The existing Edwards fire alarm system is no longer supported for replacement of components and is at “end of life”. The purpose of this project is to enhance safety measures for staff and the public by replacing the existing non-addressable panel with a new code compliant addressable panel and new fire life safety devices as required by code. The project is being conducted in an occupied building which will require planning and consideration to minimize the amount of time the fire alarm is out of service. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
