Total Small Business Set-Aside, 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. Work includes: a. Provide 19 new hydraulic cylinder assemblies: 18 cylinder assemblies to be installed in gate slots plus one additional cylinder assembly that will be placed into long term storage as a spare. b. Provide 18 new support beams and associated hardware. c. Provide 36 new bearing beams. d. Provide a new hydraulic power unit, including new motor starters, breakers, associated hardware, and other electrical and control components. e. Provide new high and low pressure hydraulic fluid header piping system. f. Provide 6 new main unit hydraulic control panels, inclusive of all new electrical and control components. g. Replace the 3 accumulator tanks located in the pipe gallery. h. Provide approximately 15,000 gallons of new hydraulic fluid. i. Rehabilitate the 2 existing hydraulic fluid reservoir tanks and transfer piping, including the installation of one off-line oil filtration system. j. Rehabilitate the 18 existing gate position indicating systems. k. Add emergency gate closure switches to the control room main unit switchboards. l. Provide cable and conduit for system power, controls and annunciation. m. Provide a temporary hydraulic power unit, temporary hydraulic fluid piping. n. Remove and dispose of existing: 1) 19 hydraulic cylinders 2) 18 support beams and 36 bearing beams 3) Hydraulic power unit 4) High and low pressure headers 5) 6 main unit hydraulic control panels 6) Approximately 19,500 gallons of hydraulic fluid. 7) Electrical and control equipment associated with the above items. 8) Gate position indication equipment not reused. Work will occur on the Intake Deck of the Powerhouse, the pipe gallery just below the Intake Deck, near the elevator shaft in the Erection Bay, and in the Oil Storage Room. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
