Scope of work is indicated on the contract drawings and specifications. It includes the installation of habitat features including engineered log jams, pile fields, and excavation of one pilot channel along 0.7 miles of the Touchet River. Procurement and import of rootwad logs, timber piles, boulders, and connection hardware to the site is required. Equipment that can sufficiently vibratory drive timber piles and excavate a pilot channel (200 CY to be spoiled on site) are also required. Water control and isolation of river flow is incidental to completion of the work, as shown on the contract drawings. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
