Work will consist of modifying 5 existing traffic signals, 17 signal poles, junction boxes, pole / base mounted cabinets, and conduit at 5 existing intersections: (1) Meadowbrook Road & Go Mart, (2) Meadowbrook Road & I-79 NB Ramps, (3) Meadowbrook Road & I-79 SB Ramps, (4) Meadowbrook Road & Barnett Run Road, and (5) Meadowbrook Road & Mall Road. There will be tree removal at I/S #2 due to potential conflicts with the overhead power lines. The area of disturbance will be very minimal, with only a few square feet per intersection. I/S #2 will have more ground disturbance due to the installation of approximately 175' of conduit from the service power to the junction boxes. All disturbed areas will be stabilized with seed, mulch, stone, or concrete. All work will be within the existing right of way. There will be no work below OHW. Seasonal tree cutting restrictions apply (November 15th - March 31st only). DBE goal 8%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
