Work will consist of replacing the expansion joints, sealing the concrete deck, replacing the bearings at the abutments, repairing spalling and delamination on substructure units, applying a concrete protective coating to the substructure and deck overhangs, cleaning and painting the girder ends and underside of guardrail brackets, gas line bracket repairs, and repairing erosion at Abutment. There will be minimal ground disturbances. Buckhannon Avenue will be closed surrounding the project. Traffic will be maintained utilizing a detour on existing routes. All work will be within the existing right of way. There will be no tree removal or work below OHW. DBE goal 5%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
