The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for the Parkersburg CBD TL REN +29 project on HWY 17/4 in Wood County. Work will consist of modifying 50 existing traffic signals, approximately 136 signal poles, junction boxes, pole / base mounted cabinets, ADA ramps, pedestrian accommodations, and conduit at 50 existing intersections in Parkersburg / Vienna in Wood County. Shrubbery trimming and possible removal at I/S #27 and tree trimming at I/S #33 and #34 will be needed. The area of disturbance will be very minimal with only a few square feet per intersection anticipated. All disturbed areas will be stabilized with seed, mulch, stone, or concrete. DBE goal 8%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
