The County Commissioners of Charles County are hereby requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for construction of Detention Center 6905 Crain Highway Pump Station Improvements as described and specified in the Contract Documents. The project includes, but is not limited to the following: modifications, cleaning existing wet well and valve vault; new process mechanical piping, valves, and equipment inside the wet well, valve vault, and yard, grinder vault, grinder units with guide rails, slide gates, emergency bypass connection; civil site work and temporary bypass pumping; rerouting storm drain; electrical work; instrumentation and system integration. MBE goal 25%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
