Scope of work: a. Work will involve the repair and/or replacement of door hardware components including, but not limited to locksets, hinges, closures, kick plates, electronic locks, strikes, panic bars, automatic door closures, keys, cylinders, door alarms, door hold open systems, door operators and any other components related to door functions. Work also includes lockset replacement and installation of new door hardware and software for electronic locking systems. b. Repairs, installs and retrofits door checks, door travel restrictors, door coordinators, magnetic door hold open devices, panic exit devices, self-contained exit door alarms, door mullions, strikes, alarm contacts, etc. c. Service and supply padlocks, file cabinet locks, furniture locks, desk locks, safes and other lock related hardware. d. Contractor is to adhere to the district’s hardware standard unless otherwise directed. (See Attached). e. Contractor shall maintain an inventory of new, original manufacturer parts and materials so as to insure prompt services. Contractor shall inventory and manage district owned hardware. f. No volume of work is guaranteed. All bids submitted shall include all labor, equipment, materials, transportation and utensils necessary to perform the work requested by the White Plains City School District. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
