The Owner plans to renovate five (5) campuses under this Project. The renovations are critical to the Owner’s Bond 2023 vision for planned changes to grade level alignment within the district. The campuses affected by this Project are time-sensitive and will enable the renovated campuses of this Project to receive students from various other campuses in the district that will receive comprehensive remodeling under a separate project. The comprehensive remodeling of campuses not included in this Project will require those campuses to be vacated and students to be distributed to the campuses affected by this Project. Therefore, the work under this Project must be complete by the stated deadlines. The Project will likely include phased project completion, multiple Guaranteed Maximum Price proposals, and work during summer, nights, and weekends to maintain the project schedule and minimize the disruption to ongoing campus operations. Construction commencement milestone date includes submittal and procurement activities. Construction may occur at the campus during the school year provided that the work is approved in advance by the Owner and campus operations are unaffected. Note: Proposals must be submitted on-line.
